We Can Be Heroes

The next We Can Be Heroes showcase for young musicians is on Sunday, 16th November at Signature Brew Blackhorse Road.

We're showcasing some of the best young musicians, with nearly 20 live acts confirmed. Come along and support the future of live music! Entry is free for all under-18s, whether they're performing on stage or watching from the audience. For adults, it's just £5 per ticket, to help us with our running and equipment costs. Tickets are available here. Under-18s do not require a ticket, but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

We're then returning to Walthamstow Trades Hall on Saturday, 6th December for our annual Christmas party. We're joined by great acts from Waltham Forest Music Service: Choir of Joy, who will be singing Christmas carols, and Funk in the Forest, who will help you get your festive groove on. Tickets are available for our Christmas event here. 

 

Our all-ages events are an opportunity for young musicians to perform live on stage, and everyone is welcome. They are free entry for all under-18s, whether performer or attending, with a small charge for adults to cover our costs. We want to encourage young people to support each other, whether they're performing or watching.

We welcome applications from any and all young musicians in any genre, from bands to solo per formers. If you're 18 or under and want to perform, please get an adult to submit our Google Form (above). Spaces are limited, and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

We run an event that strives to be both safe and inclusive. Please note that there will be live music at this event. Whilst we will make every effort to monitor the sound levels, you may want to consider ear protection for children.
